- Temporary underpass closure and detour Sunday August 26th: The underpass for the railroad bridge on Main Street by the Waterbury Roundabout will be closed on Sunday, August 26th between 8am to approximately 4pm while the new art installation on the railroad bridge takes place. The detour to access the downtown from the roundabout will be on Union Street to Stowe Street and back to Main Street. Traffic control and signage will be available to assist travelers.
- Contractors for the Town of Waterbury will be repairing a bridge on Guptil Road between Kneeland Flats Road and Grenier's Farm Stand. This will result in one lane traffic near the log cabin for approximately two weeks. This area will have plenty of warning signs in advance of the lane closure and has good visibility to see both sides for stopped and oncoming traffic flow. Please be aware of this project and pay attention to the warning signs. Workers will be on the site during the day but not at night. Drive slowly and stop where directed.
