Natural Disaster Preparedness Committee

The Natural Disaster Preparedness Committee (NDPC) of Waterbury area marshals the human, physical, and financial resources required to help the community prepare for and respond rapidly to natural disasters.

By planning ahead, sharing knowledge, and lending a hand, we make sure no one faces a crisis alone.

  • The NDPC is looking for a dedicated corps of volunteers who are willing to attend one or two meetings per year to stay current on processes and trainings. Meetings will be in a fun, community-oriented environment with room for ideas, questions, and creativity. In addition, the committee is seeking folks who want to help with preparedness including outreach (website, front porch forum, design work) and administration (streamlining processes, refining paperwork, etc). Please join wherever you feel most inclined!
