The Waterbury Food Shelf

The Food Shelf is available to all Waterbury area community members in need of nutritious food, non- perishable and perishable items, milk, meat, cheeses), recipes and a limited amount of some household items.

Located on Main St. in Waterbury. We are open:
Monday and Friday from 10 am -12 pm
Wednesdays from 3 pm - 5 pm
Delivery services are available for shut-ins or emergencies only.

Good Neighbor Fund

The Good Neighbor Fund is available to Waterbury and Waterbury Center residents in need of financial assistance. There are guidelines on how much you can receive, and what this can be used for. If you are in need of financial assistance, or if you can make a donation to this cause, please contact your local clergy:

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is a resource for families in need of some financial help as well. If all other sources of aid have been checked first, and you are a resident of Waterbury, Waterbury Center, Warren, Moretown, Waitsfield, or Bolton, funds are available to help you and your family.
Please contact: Cathy Cummings at Bargain Boutique located at 32 South Main St. in Waterbury. Her number is 244-8429. She can be reached most days from 8 am - 5pm.

 

American Legion

Veterans and their families may qualify for assistance from the American Legion Hall located on Stowe Street in Waterbury.
