Town of Waterbury seeks a truck driver/laborer for Highway Department. Classification: CDL Driver/Laborer, pay range $13.50-18.00/hr plus benefits. Candidates must be at least 18 years old. VT CDL required within 90 days. Responsibilities: driving truck, plowing snow, operating equipment, using hand tools & manual labor. Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. Mechanical aptitude helpful. Must be available nights and weekends, in addition to M-F 6:00 a.m-3:00 p.m. schedule. Reports to highway foreman. Residency in the greater Waterbury required. Subject to background check, pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screening.
