Notary Services
The Town Clerk’s office offers notary services at no charge. Please bring a form of identification with you, and do not sign your form until you are standing before the notary.
Vital Records
The Waterbury Town Clerk’s office contains birth, marriage and death certificates of Waterbury residents. The records are open to the public. Certified copies are $10.00.
Green Mountain Passports
A discount program for seniors and veterans with disabilities.
The Passport allows free admission to Vermont State Parks (excluding overnight camping and other park fees), Vermont State Historic Sites, and events which are fully State sponsored.
To be eligible, you must be a resident of Vermont and
- 62 years of age or more or
- Totally disabled as a result of a disease or injury suffered while serving in the Armed Forces or
- A resident of the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington.
To receive your Green Mountain Passport, fill out the application, bring it to your Town Clerk’s office and pay a $2.00 fee.
Town Health Officer
Waterbury's Town Health Officer is Steve Simoes. Steve can be reached at simoes57@hotmail.com or 244-5816.
Town Health Officers are responsible for:
- investigating possible public health hazards and risks within the municipality
- taking action to prevent, remove or destroy any such hazards
- taking action to mitigate significant public health risks
- enforcing health laws, rules and permit conditions, and taking the steps necessary to enforce orders
