Animal Control Officers
Waterbury has two Animal Control Officers (ACO’s) that are appointed each year by the Select Board. The ACO’s deal with dog issues in Waterbury, including:
- Bringing lost or run-away dogs to the pound or owner
- Dog bites
- Unlicensed dogs
- Neighbor complaints about barking/aggressive dogs
