Revolving Loan Fund

The Waterbury Community Development Committee's mission is to promote the development and growth of new and existing businesses to enhance the quality of life in Waterbury. We actively solicit businesses seeking to become established or to grow within the Village (including Colbyville) and needing financing to support this effort.

Waterbury is the fortunate recipient of interest monies from funds that assisted Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream in developing their manufacturing facility here in town. That loan to Ben & Jerry's carried with it the obligation that the interest be paid to Waterbury. In turn, Waterbury has loaned the money to further commercial development. WCDC reviews requests and passes recommendations to the municipal board for approval.
